BackdropFit is a free, browser-based planning tool for photographers, creators and small studios working with real rooms and real equipment.

The problem

Backdrop guides usually recommend a paper or fabric size by shoot type. That is useful, but it does not answer whether the roll, assembled support, floor sweep, subject spacing and camera position all fit together in one room.

The approach

BackdropFit keeps every measurement editable, visualizes the room from above and from the side, and identifies the first limiting dimension. It deliberately separates physical planning from camera, lighting and rigging calculations.
